11 new cases of coronavirus infection detected in Russia

For a day in Russia, 11 new cases of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19 were detected, the operational headquarters said. Five are in Moscow, one in the Moscow region, three in St. Petersburg, one in the Leningrad region and one in the Perm region. All patients in the past two weeks have visited Italy, France, Austria. One of the infected contacts with the sick earlier, noted at headquarters. All infected are hospitalized and are in infectious boxes. The people they contacted in Russia were identified, they will be examined and placed under medical supervision. One of those infected in Moscow is a teenager who attended school on March 2 and 3, and from the 4th she was at home. Now she is in the infectious diseases hospital, and her school has been quarantined since March 10th. The girl, allegedly, returned on March 1 from Italy: the operation center reported that the sick Muscovites arrived on flights No. 13216LX Munich - Moscow (via Zurich) on March 7 and No. 806DP Bergamo - Moscow on March 1. The epidemic of the coronavirus COVID-19 began in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the first cases were recorded in December 2019. Later, infected were found outside of China. In Russia, 38 cases were recorded. In the world, the number of patients with coronavirus exceeds 130 thousand people, 4.7 thousand died. The number of people infected in Russia has reached 48 people.
